LONDON COLNEY

The club is pleased to announce the following:

The small lake at London Colney is open to club members during the close season.

This follows talks with the Herts & Middlesex Wildlife Trust who in turn are endeavouring to bring the general appearance and habitat of the fishery to what many of us would like to see. Whilst undertaken these changes, there may be some disruption around the fishery and we will keep you informed as and when anything major is to happen.

Please be advised that close season fishing is only on the
Small Lake.

The Club is also pleased to announce that as from the 16th June 2013 Night fishing will be allowed on both lakes.

Due to the geography of the water and in some cases very steep banks, we have considered it necessary to restrict night fishing to a limited number of swims and a limited number of anglers, (8) on any one night.

Work is to be undertaken during the close season to open up such swims that will be deemed suitable and as far as possible allow adequate room for a Bivvy to be erected.
A list of swims will be made available prior to the start of the season.
Members must book on for a night session in advance and this can only be done by going directly to London Colney Tackle or by phoning them.

This facility is strictly for members who have opted to purchase a

NIGHT PERMIT.

Under no circumstances will guest be allowed.
